To include Pat’s Tips, with handouts, by Pat Childerhouse and a Demonstration by John Percy and Ian Hanks, covering Cutting Mounts for Prints.
Tim Bridge will provide information about our new Website via the tv, also, tuition will be outlined for entry to competitions.
Denise Whiting will give her Presentation explaining the whole year in detail and Wayne Welsh will give a brief detail of the definition of what constitutes Macro Photography and the reasonably priced equipment required to take macro images.
Members will be asked for requests for the Digital Imaging Tuition evening on the 4th October. If you have a specific problem or a desire to learn ’how to’ in Photoshop, now is the time to voice your request for possible inclusion in this informative evening.
Set-up Evening at the Baptist Hall from 5.30 – 6pm. All volunteers to assist are most welcome.

The set subject for colour prints is "Seaside"
Monochrome and digital are open - enter pictures on any subject.
You may enter up to TWO pictures in each of the three classes.
Please have prints on the table ready to be judged by 19:20

Three of our most experienced members, Ian Hanks, Pat Childerhouse and Richard Lovelock, will lead this evening and provide handouts to assist with home manipulation. Please bring notebook and pen for notes to assist with further retrieval of instructions when at home.
Pick and Mix Table Tops Display covering all VINTAGE TOYS. You may consider arranging a diorama of vintage vehicles or any other photogenic juvenilia. Given that the Centenary of WW1 is set to be marked in 2018, if any members have any items relating to that war which would make interesting images, please consider making up a table-top display. Resulting photographs may be used in a possible display with Brandon Town. Even if you have only one item, please bring it along – every little helps!
An informative Portraiture Evening with Liz Mclaglen. With tuition regarding models, lighting & posing, all members will be encouraged to take photographs. A rolling display of ideas for portraiture will be running on the television screen. Please bring along your camera and tri-pod for an interesting evening.
With Kevin Sawford. ’20 nature Photography Projects throughout the Year.’ Another visit by our favourite wild-life photographer with ideas for your future projects.

CLUB AUCTION AND SECOND JPEG COMPETITION.
Please bring any photographic items you want to sell (marked with reserve price if you have one) to other Club Members.
The subject of the Jpeg competition will be "On the Water".
An evening with Alan Sarsby covering Lighting for a Macro Scene. Everything you need to know about improving your lighting when photographing close-up objects. Bring your camera and tri-pod for participation in this fascinating subject
No points are allocated for this competition as it has its own award.
Three prints can be entered into this competition in any combination: Colour, Digital and Mono.
Putting to good use all the hints and tips gleaned from Liz Mclaglen on 1st November. To enable a different slant on this subject, a more ‘mature ‘model will be asked to attend. Please bring along your Camera and Tri-pod.
All entries for this evening's competition are to have been taken at - or inspired by - this season's Workshop evenings.

This interesting subject is sure to encourage you to want to photograph the night sky. The evening is open to family, friends and non-members at £5 a head covering entry, tea/coffee and cake.

Your precious prints of the previous year’s Hockwold Show, and other prints you consider worthy, will be required for our usual annual exhibition. This is always a good day out and if you can assist on the day, your presence would be most welcome.
Your photographs of the past Weeting rallies will be required for our display at this, the 50th, rally.
No other criteria will be accepted for this display.
Volunteers are always needed to assist over the three days and to help erecting and dismantling the Marquee. This show is considered one of the finest in East Anglia and
